What is dynasty the colbys?

Dynasty: The Colbys is an American prime-time television soap opera series that aired on ABC from November 1985 to March 1987. It was a spin-off of the popular series Dynasty and focused on the wealthy Colby family and their business dealings in Los Angeles and Denver.

The series starred John James as Jeff Colby, the charismatic businessman and heir to the Colby family fortune. Other main cast members included Katharine Ross as his mother, Barbara Stanwyck as his aunt, and Emma Samms as his love interest, Fallon Carrington.

The Colbys was produced by Aaron Spelling and Richard and Esther Shapiro, who also created Dynasty. Although the show was successful in its first season, it struggled in its second, and ultimately was canceled after just two seasons.

Despite its short run, Dynasty: The Colbys remains a cult classic among soap opera fans, thanks to its high drama, over-the-top plot twists, and glamorous 1980s style.
